Happy New Year!

Hey everyone 🙂

I hope you all have a safe and happy new year’s eve and new year’s day. I know I plan to stay home with my husband and watch the ball drop from Times Square on TV.

A few things:

*Do any of you have any new year’s resolutions? I realize most of us don’t wind up keeping them, but mine would have to be starting the process of writing my next book, which will be a sequel to The Past That Haunts. I am so excited! I also hope to hunker down and edit draft #3 of The Past That Haunts and gather some beta readers from Wattpad along with editors, and I aim to begin the query process by the end of 2017.

*On Wattpad, I noticed my horror short story available exclusively on the website, Mind Games, was featured on the @fright profile’s book Fright Bites. It’s a collection of short stories. I feel so honored to have been chosen to be spotlighted and it was the perfect thing to end this chaotic year we call 2016. You can check out my story here – Mind Games

*The Past That Haunts has been slowly gaining popularity over on Wattpad and I highly encourage you to check out the revised version posted a couple months back. I am so grateful for every read, vote, and comment and it makes me feel wonderful that I am reaching so many members. Check it out here – The Past That Haunts

Lastly, I apologize for barely being active on my blog. This year has been downright horrible in some ways and I’ve been dealing with some rough stuff, including a death in the family. Once things get a little more settled, I am going to be more active, though I will try posting more for the time being. I plan to mostly post story quotes, some life updates here and there, and the status of my WIP’s.

I love you all and have a great new year!!!
